Alternanthera is a genus of flowering plants in the amaranth family, Amaranthaceae. Cultivated varieties are a fast growing, compact plant ideal for borders or rockery. Attractive variegated foliage in shades of green and/or gold and often in red or bronze. Grow as a perennial or as a warm-season annual in cooler climates. 'Partytime' has green, wavy leaves with magenta splashes and streaks. Some leaves are wholly pink, and some are wholly green. In the garden, plant out after the last frost in moist but well-drained soil in full sun which will produce the best leaf colour. Plants can also grow well although less colourful in partial shade. Compact container grown specimens can be planted out to good effect for formal mass planting much as the Victorians did in formal gardens. If growing in the greenhouse in cooler regions, grow in full light and water freely during the growing season. Water sparingly and keep in a well ventilated spot in winter.Shipping Notes

My main issue was that one of the six bottles arrived with a leak — not completely empty but had clearly lost some product in transit, which was a little frustrating. It seems like a packaging or seal issue rather than anything wrong with the product itself, but worth mentioning. The other five bottles were perfectly fine and have been holding up great.
